PBS suspends party AGMs to contain spread of COVID 19

KOTA KINABALU, Mar 16, 2020:

Parti Bersatu Sabah suspends all branch annual general meetings statewide and Labuan with immediate effect.

Its President Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said the procedure is in line with the preventive measures against the spread of the novel coronavirus 19 (COVID 19).

"We are complying to the advice from the Health Ministry and Department following the ban imposed  on all gatherings, meetings, sporting events, social and religious assemblies until April 30 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"As such, PBS has also decided to suspend all party AGMs with immediate effect until further notice," he said, today.

He urged members to comply with the instructions and guidelines from the health department and agencies on safety measures, especially personal hygiene, to contain the spread of the virus.
